Nearest parking: Hartshill Hayes Country Park offers all day parking for a small charge in which the correct change is required for pay and display. You can also reach Hartshill from the Coventry Canal.

The section: The section is suitably named a woodland wonder for the spectacular views around Hartshill Hayes and along Coleshill Road, past the Merevale Estate. If you come at the right time of year you may catch the beauty of the bluebells. The open views bring a real village feel to the ride. Church End Brewery, located along this section, welcomes cyclists and they have a host of facilities including parking, camping, food, brewery tours and of course - beer!

The terrain: As you turn at the White Hart Public House, Ridge Lane and ride along Monks Path Lane you can experience the route’s sharpest, long descent and then along Coleshill Road, which is slightly undulating. From Coleshill Road onto Twenty One Oaks you get to experience straight, flat and open views.
