Nearest parking: Kingsbury Water Park offers all day parking for a small charge. The correct change is required at the point of entry. This is 0.6 miles from the main red route which can be accessed through the park. You can also reach Kingsbury Water Park from the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal.
The section: This section of the route has been named due its close proximity to Kingsbury Water Park, RSPB Middleton Lakes, Cliff Lakes, Shustoke Reservoir and the Tame Valley Wetlands. An area drenched (excuse the pun!) in water sports, scenic views and outdoor adventure, with an array of wildlife particularly birds. For those cyclists that are ready for a breather, there is the Railway public house within this section that has a number of cycle racks within their outside garden area.
The terrain: This section is exceptionally flat, relatively short and provides an easy start to the route.
