The Red Route has been specially designed to take cyclists on a whistle-stop tour of the picturesque borough of North Warwickshire. Whether you are an experienced cyclist who is looking to ride the 31 mile anti-clockwise route in a morning or afternoon, or you prefer to take it at a more leisurely pace a section at a time - this is the route for you! Why not incorporate a little shopping or sightseeing along the way, or take the opportunity to visit a brewery, café, restaurant or heritage sites situated on or near the route.
Getting here
North Warwickshire is situated in England’s Rural Heart. To the west of Birmingham, the area is enclosed by the larger geographical areas of Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Solihull and Tamworth, making it very easy to reach using the key motorway networks of the M6, M42, or the M1. If you prefer to travel by train then the area is served by a number of stations including Coleshill Parkway, Atherstone and Polesworth that are a short ride from the route.
How the route works
The route has been split into seven themed sections but you start at any point that suits you. To help, we have identified the most appropriate car parks and transport links and points of interest for you to visit.
