Service Standards
The Council is committed to providing a quality homeless service. Given this, there are certain standards that you can expect the Council to adhere to, when a homeless application is made:
- That an appropriate, prompt appointment will be made for you to discuss your situation, according to your personal circumstances.
- That advice in an emergency, will always be available, throughout the working day and in certain cases, outside of normal office hours.
- That throughout the homeless inquiry, you will be kept up to date with the progress of your application.
- That you will receive written notification of the final decision made.
