A significant number of properties in North Warwickshire are at risk from flooding from rivers and watercourses. You should be aware of the risks and what you may need to consider when undertaking or proposing any development at your property. The Environment Agency via gov.uk is the advising authority when it comes to considering flood risks in relation to development. They offer the following advice:

National flood risk standing advice for local planning authorities
Warwickshire County Council is the Lead Local Flood Authority, and they provide flooding information and guidance on sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS). The County Council deal with Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA).
