Children's Activities

North Warwickshire Leisure offer fun activities for children across all ages, from baby and toddler playtimes to rookie lifeguards and family swimming, as well as our children’s birthday parties in Atherstone and Coleshill.

We also offer several sports and activities that the children can get involved with, like our North Warks Gymnastics group along with external providers who offer activities like Dance, Cheerleading, Taekwondo, Football and Hockey.

Venues:

Atherstone Leisure Complex and Memorial Hall are located on Long Street in Atherstone and offer a range of activities for children from Birthday parties to holiday activities and our weekly Playtimes sessions for Toddlers, Rookie Lifeguard courses in our main pool area and other swimming activities for older children.

Coleshill Leisure Centre is located on Packington Lane in Coleshill and offers a large sports hall for children’s gymnastics, cheerleading and dance, along with badminton, table tennis and teen fit membership for our multi-functional gym. Coleshill Leisure Centre also offer Children’s Birthday parties, Holiday activities and a range of seasonal events throughout the year.

Polesworth Sports Centre is located at the rear of Polesworth School on Dordon Road, Dordon, and is home to North Warwickshire Gymnastics which has been running for over 25 years and offers recreational gymnastics for most ages. As well as gymnastics you can also take part in other sports activities including badminton, hockey and football at our Queen Elizabeth Academy Sports Village located in Atherstone.

CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY PARTIES IN ATHERSTONE & COLESHILL

Atherstone Leisure Complex and Coleshill Leisure Centre Birthday Parties are suitable for children under 10, and are available on each Saturday & Sunday throughout the year.

Hire our bouncy castle and soft play equipment for an extra special occassion!

Guests can enjoy up to 90 minutes of party fun where children can bounce and bound around as they celebrate their birthday party on our bouncy castle and soft play equipment.

Tables and chairs seating up to 25 children at Atherstone, and up to 40 children at Coleshill are available for you to set up your own party food, where the children can wind down and enjoy some refreshments!

Hot Drinks & Squash/Water can also be added to the party package where required* (at an additional fee)

Childrens birthday party terms and conditions

Terms and conditions:

Parent/Guardians are responsible for supervising children for the duration of the party.
Users must refrain from dangerous activities whilst on the bouncy castles, including gymnastics/acrobatics of any kind.
Children should not climb the walls of the bouncy castles or jump from height.
All accidents must be reported to the Duty Officer at Reception.
No footwear, neck ties or watches on soft play or inflatable.
No food or drink in the play areas.
No more than 8 children on the bouncy castle at one time.
Maximum number of children per party is 25 Atherstone and 40 at Coleshill.
All bookings must be paid for in advance.
Terms and conditions must be signed before the day of the party.
Full payment required at the time of booking.

*Hot Drinks & Squash/Water can also be added to the party package where required at an additional cost.

Children's Holiday Activities

North Warwickshire Leisure host a range of Children’s holiday activities across North Warwickshire from within our leisure facilities including soft play and swim sessions, swimming crash courses, bounce and play days and various other activities across Atherstone, Coleshill and Polesworth.

All activities are for children aged from 0-12 years old (and their parents*) to allow them to have an active, fun-filled and healthy school holiday.

North Warks Gymnastics (Polesworth)

North Warks Gymnastics (Polesworth) is aimed at 3 – 16yrs olds, and offers a safe, fun environment for children to enjoy recreational gymnastic sessions.

All of our gymnasts are coached across a variety of equipment, which range from an inflatable air track, gymnastics beams, vault, asymmetric bars and floor exercises.

We teach in small groups & base our classes on learning new skills around this equipment.

We follow the ‘NatGAP’ awards scheme, which offers children a variety of awards to achieve & work towards, and all awards are age related to keep learning fun.

We also have ‘Star of the week’ awards, which are presented each week to the children.

Our coaches are all fully qualified & experienced and in 2023 our club celebrated ‘25 years of success’ and is still running strong.
