The Atherstone Partnership is delighted to announce the recent improvements to the uplighters at St Mary’s Church, in the heart of the market town.
The improvement works were made possible through a Warwickshire County Council grant from Councillor Mejar Singh and have made a huge improvement to the appearance of the landmark building during the evening.
The lighting project is one of a range of projects recently completed by the Partnership, and plans are also well underway for the Atherstone Big Weekender festival, which is due to take place on Saturday 31st May 2025 and Sunday 1st June 2025.
Commenting on the new lighting, Malcolm Ward, Treasurer of the Atherstone Partnership, said, “We are delighted to see the improvements to the appearance of the Church and are very grateful to Councillor Mejar Singh for his kind support with this project”.
