Coleshill Road will be closed from this evening (10/12/24) in both directions with a diversion in place.
The Council’s Building Control service undertook extensive work at Britannia Mill over the weekend to make the building safe. The Council is now considering what further action needs to be taken once it has surveyed the current state of the building and that will include discussions with the owner.
Further demolition work is scheduled tomorrow (11/12/24) following which the building will be inspected again. The Council will then decide what further action if any will be needed at that point.
Ahead of the work tomorrow, Coleshill Road will be closed from this evening (10/12/24) in both directions with a diversion in place.
