Streetscape crew in orange stood by waste lorry

North Warwickshire Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council staff have come together to remove an extortionate amount of litter and debris from key A Roads.

Over the span of six days, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, an incredible team effort led to the removal of 19,040 kg of roadside debris and 800 kg of litter. This initiative was made possible through the collaboration between Streetscape staff from North Warwickshire Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council. Together, they cleared litter from key A Roads, cut grass verges, and emptied drain gullies. Our Streetscape Team has successfully removed significant amounts of litter in anticipation of the forthcoming grass cutting by the WCC teams. The targeted roads included the A446, A38, A45, and A4097. Thank you to everyone involved for making our roads cleaner and greener!
