Report fly posting
Fly posting is the illegal and unauthorised placing of advertising material on buildings (Town and Country Planning Act 1990) and street furniture (Highways Act 1980) without consent of the owner.
We are responsible for removing fly posting from Council property. Our officers and operatives will monitor streets for flyposting and will remove them when found. They will also contact the source of the sign/poster or sticker.
If flyposting is on public utility street cabinets (such as electricity boxes) these companies are responsible for removing fly posting from their property. If flyposting is on private land it is the responsibility of the property owner to remove items.
