Requirement to provide Documentary Evidence
In some cases, we are unable to process your application to register because we have not been able to confirm your identity, which we are required to do by law before we can determine your application.
To progress your application, we require you to provide documentary evidence so that we can verify your identity. Until this evidence is received, we are unable to process you onto the electoral register.
Evidence you can provide
You will need to provide either:
- One document from Evidence Type 1; OR
- Three documents from Evidence Type 2; OR
- One document from Evidence Type 2 AND two documents from Evidence Type 3; OR
- Four documents from Evidence Type 3
