Best Practice Notes
Local Validation Requirements Document
As well as outlining the National Requirements, North Warwickshire's Planning Application Validation Requirements Document sets out the information that Development Control will expect to be submitted with each type of application.
Scheme of Delegation and Public Speaking
The scheme of delegation enables the Assistant Chief Executive to take certain planning decisions without reporting first to the Council's Planning and Development Board. Where reported to the Board, public speaking is permitted and the Council has a procedural note for this.
Service Standards, Improvement and Performance
The Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Planning Protocol is also available, which sets out a 5 year strategy for the Coventry and Warwickshire economy
Compliments and complaints
If you wish to make a compliment and complaint you are able to do so. If you wish to make a complaint the Councils procedure provides guidance. If you have used our complaints procedure and you are still not satisfied, you can take your complaint to the Local Government Ombudsman.
Infrastructure Funding Statement
The Infrastructure Funding Statement (“IFS”) is an annual report published to provide a summary of all financial and non-financial developer contributions arising from Section 106 Planning Agreements and Community Infrastructure Levy (“CIL”) contributions within a Local Planning Authority’s area for a given financial year.
