Polesworth Neighbourhood Planning Referendum

On Thursday 20 March 2025, a referendum will be held in the Polesworth Parish Council area on whether or not to adopt the Neighbourhood Plan for Polesworth.

Poll Cards/Polling Stations

Poll cards will be dispatched from 13 February 2025 to all registered electors. If you don't receive a poll card, you might not be registered, so either email us, or register at https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

The Polling Stations at this referendum will be the same local polling stations in use in May 2024 and at the recent UK Parliamentary General Election.

Postal Votes

If you already have a postal vote, you should receive this on/around 13 February 2025. If you apply for a postal vote in the weeks leading up to the referendum, it should be delivered on/around 10 March 2025.

If you want to apply for a postal vote, go to www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote and fill in your details. You will need  your national insurance number and a photograph of your hand-written signature as part of the application.

What is this Referendum for?

You will be invited to vote yes or no to the following question:

‘Do you want North Warwickshire Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Polesworth to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’
