I moved to Kingsbury, North Warwickshire 19 years ago from Birmingham and have lived here happily brining up my three children (2 girls and 1 boy), all of whom have completed their school education at Kingsbury schools before moving on to college and university.
In 2019 I facilitated a local community initiative in response to the Covid-19 pandemic to support vulnerable and isolated members of Kingsbury and Cliff village.
In 2023 I was elected as a Kingsbury Borough Councillor and a Kingsbury Parish Councillor, additionally taking on the role as Deputy Chair for Kingsbury Parish Council.
Professionally I have always worked within Social Care, I am a registered Social Worker currently working within the Community Sector in the role as Head of Operations, with supporting the community aligning to my professional and personal values.
