Business recycling
PLEASE NOTE: any contamination means the recycling would be classed as residual waste and there may be an additional cost for disposal
What you CAN put in your Trade Recycling bin (loose - no bags please):
- Food tins and drinks cans
- Plastic bottles (for example pop bottles, milk bottles, shampoo bottles and spray
- cleaner bottles)
- Plastic pots, tubs and trays (for example margarine tubs, yogurt pots and fruit
- punnets, including black plastic)
- Glass bottles and jars
- Aerosols
- Foil, including foil trays
- Paper (not shredded paper – only shred the sensitive sections; usually the top third
- and recycle the rest)
- Newspaper
- Magazines
- Junk mail
- Cardboard boxes (please break down boxes and large pieces of card into manageable pieces 2ft x 2ft)
- Card (including toilet roll tubes, cereal boxes etc.)
- Greetings cards without glitter or embellishment
What you CANNOT put in your Trade Recycling bin:
- Plastic bags including bin liners and refuse sacks (please place recyclable items
- loose in bin - no bags please)
- Food waste
- Polystyrene
- Tetrapak cartons
- Clothing and bedding
- Film
- Nappies
- Wood
- Cookware such as pots, pans and Pyrex
- Plastic toys and furniture
- Plant pots
