Kingsbury Water Park Family Cycle Routes
Blue Route
The Route
As with the other family routes, the Blue Route starts at Big Frank's Cycle Hire Shop and allows you to see all the places of interest as on the Pink and Green Routes. This route is the longest family route, distancing 6.5 miles. This route is a must for those family members who love to cycle and the route is fairly flat in terrain, so still ideal for families. The route allows you to see the wonderful sights along the Birmingham Fazeley Canal and if you would like to travel further a field, the route takes you close to Middleton Hall, Cliff Lakes and RSPB Lakes.
There are plenty of places to stop for a picnic on route or you could visit The Granary Tearoom next to Broomey's Croft Children's Farm or the Dog and Doublet Pub which is just a short distance along the canal. The route completes a loop back to the start, where you can visit the Old Barn Café.
